Vastardis Capital Services™ Announces New Partners
In
recent months, Vastardis Capital Services™ has welcomed three additions to the partnership.
As head of the
Vastardis Capital systems development team, Robert
Lynch has been instrumental in the design
and implementation of Vastardis’s systems
vision. Rob began his career 14 years ago at Royal Trust Company in
Toronto and later became an independent consultant creating enterprise
applications, including an integrated project tracking and management
solution at ING Barings Corporation, a web-based trading system for fixed
income products at Tullett & Tokyo Liberty PLC, and a suite of
products that automated functions such as compliance, fund administration
and accounting at Investors Bank & Trust Company. He then joined
Investors as a director in its Business Support and Development group, where
he played a key role in formulating bank-wide development standards and
frameworks for the Microsoft .Net platform. Rob received a Diploma with honors in
computer systems technology from Mohawk College of Applied Arts and
Technology and is a Microsoft Certified Application Developer.
Michael Wyne joined
Vastardis Capital in May 2008 from global institutional fixed income
manager Fischer Francis Trees & Watts (FFTW), where he most recently
served as the head of operations, infrastructure and IT development. During his 21 year tenure at FFTW, Mike
also held positions in client service and portfolio management. Prior to joining FFTW, he worked for
Arthur Andersen and Degnan & Gillespie Fixed Income Management. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Notre Dame University,
magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University,
magna cum laude. Mike has also
participated in and chaired several industry committees, such as the
Asset Managers Forum.
Stephen Casper has over 25 years of experience
in the financial services industry, most recently as the President and
CEO of FFTW, where he was fully responsible for all aspects of the firm’s
activities, including strategy and profitability. Prior to joining FFTW, Steve spent 7
years with the Rockefeller Family Office in charge of all financial, tax,
and investment operations. Before
that, he was employed for 10 years by various large corporations in
treasury, control and strategic planning positions. He holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Baruch College,
magna cum laude, and a Master of Science in Finance from the Wharton School
of the University
of Pennsylvania. Steve is a CPA in the state of New York.
