New Director of Tax Services

Juan Carlos Segarra joined Vastardis Capital as a Vice President and Director of Tax Services in May 2006.

Known familiarly as John, he spent nine years at Ernst & Young immersing himself in mutual fund and hedge fund tax issues before moving to Vastardis Capital. "Working at Ernst & Young was an invaluable experience coming out of college," John said. "I'm excited about applying the knowledge and industry experience I gained there to developing the tax services we offer our clients at Vastardis Capital."

A graduate of St. John’s University and a certified public accountant, John was born and still lives in Brooklyn with his wife and 3-year old son. He is fluent in Spanish as well as in tax.
